Though released in June of last year, these two bangers have been staples on many of the future garage/funky cat's playlists for the past 10 months and one, Sweat, is currently featured on the latest FACT Magazine Podcast by Doc Daneeka (highly recommended as well). Only vaguely garage in style, Hot City makes house music that flows ever so seamlessly into the dubstep and tropical/funky realm due to the effervescent female vocals and pounding 4/4 riddims that slay crowds around the world. This is as house as I get just enough untz to keep the late night crowd rowdy withoug feeling like the guidos fist pumping. Hot hot heat from Hot City....highly recommended....both tracks are club bangers and have the support from the likes of Sinden and Shortstuff to Husdson Mohawke and Raffetie illustrating how dynamic this bass music has become......Fans of Night Slugs, Bok Bok or L-Vis 1990, get it filthyHot City - Hot City Bass / Sweat
